South Africa Diving and Safari Adventure 7/24-8/9 2010
What an Amazing Trip! South Africa is non stop adventure from Shark infested waters of Aliwal shoal to wilderness safaris in Kruger National Park.
Our group of 17 started our adventure at the South Coast town of Umkomaas, which is 25km South of Durban. We dove three days with Blue Vision Dive Center and explored the famous Aliwal Shoal located 5km off the coast. Ragged tooth Sharks and schools of Black Tip Sharks accompanied us on every dive.
From here we traveled North to Sodwana Bay in Zulu land South Africa where we were treated Whale Sharks and a variety of Marine life native to the Indian Ocean.
After six days of diving we headed inland to the Falaza Spa and Game Reserve. Talk about elegance in the bush! We were greeted at Falaza by Rhinos and Red Wine. The following 10 days were spent living in and around the African Bush with the Big5: Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Cape Buffalo and Hippo. We hiked with the Big5, we camped with the Big5 and yes, we drank Red Wine with the Big5. Toast!!
